SAP Basis - System Administrator

We are seeking an SAP Basis System Administrator responsible for the configuration, monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting of the SAP technology stack, including SAP applications and underlying databases. The role focuses on ensuring stable SAP landscape operations, executing system upgrades and maintenance activities, and supporting integrations with surrounding systems. You will plan and manage technical tasks and projects, working closely with internal teams to maintain performance, availability, and security. This is a full-time consulting assignment based in Solna, Stockholm, running for 9 months with possible extension into 2027. Hybrid work is supported, and remote work is allowed for EU-based candidates only. The team is international, senior, and collaborative, with high expectations on autonomy and proactive ownership.

ANSVARSOMRÅDEN

• Maintain and secure SAP landscapes to ensure stable and reliable operations.
• Perform SAP Basis administration including monitoring, workload analysis, and performance tuning.
• Manage database administration across Oracle, SAP HANA, and related platforms.
• Implement SAP system copies, upgrades, and patch installations.
• Apply support packages, kernel updates, and technical upgrades in S/4HANA landscapes.
• Configure and maintain high-availability solutions.
• Connect and maintain interfaces and integrations, including SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Support SAP BTP integration with on-premise and cloud systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-deployment support.
• Document technical activities and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and integration teams when required.

KRAV

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, conversions, and upgrades.
• 4 to 6 years of experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and backend integrations.
• Solid SAP Basis administration expertise including system maintenance and performance optimization.
• Experience working with complex SAP landscapes and integrations.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve technical issues.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in an international team environment.

MERITERANDE
